Please read these Terms of Use (“Terms”) carefully before using the PVP App (Placebo Virtual Pill application) operated by Creative Tree Labs SRL (“we”, “us”, or “our”).
By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. About the App
PVP App (Placebo Virtual Pill application) is a wellness application designed to support relaxation, mindfulness, and guided meditation. The App is intended for general wellness purposes only and is not a medical device, does not provide medical advice, and is not a substitute for professional medical treatment.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. By using the App, you confirm you meet this age requirement.
3. Account Registration
You may register using Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases
4.1 Subscription Plans
PVP offers the following auto-renewable subscription plans (“PVP Premium”):
- Monthly subscription
- Annual subscription
Current prices are displayed in the App at the time of purchase. Prices may vary by country and are subject to change.
4.2 Payment and Billing
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the price of the selected plan.
4.3 Managing and Cancelling Your Subscription
You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal at any time in your device’s Account Settings after purchase. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period you will retain access to Premium features until then.
4.4 Free Trials
If a free trial is offered, any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription before the trial ends.
4.5 Refunds
All purchases are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law or as determined by Apple. To request a refund, contact Apple directly at reportaproblem.apple.com.
5. Intellectual Property
All content in the App (including audio, graphics, text, software, and design) is the property of Creative Tree Labs SRL or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or sublicense any part of the App without our prior written consent.
6. User Conduct
You agree not to use the App in any way that:
- Violates any applicable law or regulation
- Infringes the rights of any third party
- Attempts to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its infrastructure
- Transmits harmful, offensive, or unlawful content
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Use of the App is at your own risk.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Creative Tree Labs SRL shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the App.
9. Health and Wellness Disclaimer
The App provides general wellness and relaxation content. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making decisions about your health.
10. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Romania.
